Webdesign and development

Our approach…..

We start by listening to your requirements and researching your market before coming up with a design we think you will like. Often people aren’t sure what they want or need; we are happy to make recommendations based on what we think is right for you.
Your know your business but you may not be familiar with web technology; the internet is constantly changing and the terminology can be confusing! At NJHwebdesign we embrace new technology and will happily explain web features to you and make recommendations about what might benefit your business, such as an email newsletter facility. We will also make you aware of any legal obligations like the cookie law.

Once we know your requirements we will produce sample web pages for your approval – when we have agreed the look and layout we can go ahead and build your website in one of our own domains so that you can take it for a test drive before we make it “live”. Whether you want a bespoke website or a content management system (CMS) we design websites that are interesting and easy to navigate – statistics show that on average a customer will spend between 10 and 20 seconds on a web page…..we aim to make those seconds count!

With the number of people accessing the internet through a mobile device growing daily very few businesses an afford to ignore this trend. The internet can now be accessed through a variety of devices such as smart phones, tablets, gaming devices, electronic reading devices and even watches! We build all our websites so that they “respond” to the size of the device, i.e. the web page will resize so that it is not simply cut in half.

Our standards…..

We build clean, efficient websites coded to industry standards so that they can be easily maintained. We also build “ethical” websites – the internet is open source and it is easy to use images, fonts and plugins that have been developed by someone else. We believe in making contributions for anything we use.
